Virtual

Wednesday, September 18, 2019 1:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM ET

The U.S. Department of Labor will offer their insight on successful approaches to sustainability.  This session will also feature an H-1B Ready to Work Partnership (RTW) grantee and a former Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College & Career Training (TAACCCT) grantee who will share their experiences sustaining partnerships, securing funds, and leveraging and institutionalizing key elements of their projects.

Description

What does sustainability look like from the funder’s point of view?  What does sustainability look like for fellow discretionary grantees who have continued their work beyond the period of performance?  In the final session of the H-1B TechHire Virtual Institute, featured speakers will address these questions and more.  The session will conclude with an open Q&A forum for participants to ask questions as their grant approaches completion and sustainability of core programmatic activities becomes a priority for grantees.
