This H-1B TechHire technical assistance resource explores the many opportunities and benefits TechHire grantees should consider when working with employer partners to hire TechHire graduates many of whom represent the nontraditional jobseeker: individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), Opportunity Youth (ages 17-29), individuals with disabilities, and individuals with a criminal record.
This resource also draws on specific recommendations compiled from relevant literature for each TechHire target population as well as promising practices that current grantees have experienced.
